Our congregation officially began in 1987 as a grass-roots movement to bring a Lutheran church to Clearwater, Minnesota. The original groundbreaking on our first sanctuary was in the fall of 1990, with two more additions in the 1996 and 2005.
But Rejoice isn't about a building. It's about people - people who love God and seek to love their neighbor as themselves. That's our call as people of God - and as people who seek to live out our Lutheran expression of faith. In Christ, we are freed from the things that bind us and freed for service to our neighbor - to all neighbors!
We've experienced a lot together - good times and bad ones, too. But, we, the people of Rejoice are a resilient and deeply empathetic and hospitable community who love God and seek to share that love in a world that seems so desperate to experience it.
We hope you'll come and see who we are!
